We emphasis on home-school cooperation, in order to help new students and their parents adapt to school life smoothly, we organize an orientation session for parents of incoming new students in July each year to help them understand the philosophy and operations of the school, and to prepare their children for their new school life. In September, parents are invited to accompany their children to participate in the orientation activities, which help children feel secured in the school and naturally transfers their adherence feelings from their parents to their teachers. This also enhances communication between home and school, and strengthens parents’ sense of belonging to the school.
During the first month of schooling, we organize sessions for parents to learn about the school’s curriculum and activities. After the children have settled in, we also observe and analyze their emotional adherence and social performance, and arrange individual interviews between parents and class teachers regarding their children’s adjustment to the school. Here we present the children’s performance analysis report so that parents can understand their children’s adjustment progress and performance at school, and analyze their children’s physical and mental development.
