We have developed a child-centered curriculum based on the belief of “holistic development”. The curriculum is based on a dual approach of modular teaching and project-based learning, allowing children to explore, express and share their learning, and to apply it to real-life situations. The learning time and activity schedule are structured in an activity-based manner, with an emphasis on diversity, balance and alternation between different styles of activities. This allows children to build up knowledge and learn from life experiences through the unrestricted games and interactions. The learning environment is set up with a strong emphasis on children’s freedom of choice and participation, and the classrooms are arranged with different learning areas with explorative materials in the corners of the rooms to allow children to be creative and build up new knowledge through hands-on activities.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
