Dental check-ups under the “HKU Faculty of Dentistry - Hong Kong Kindergarten Dental Outreach Service”
Our school continues to participate in the “HKU Faculty of Dentistry - Hong Kong Kindergarten Dental Outreach Service”. A dental treatment team visits our school to carry out simple oral check-ups, and to teach children about tooth decay prevention and treatment, and daily dental care.
KeySteps@JC: Health Screening
KeySteps@JC offers physical check-ups for our children to enable teachers and parents to better understand and to raise awareness of children’s health conditions.
CECES English Art Workshops
Our school actively seeks for community resources, such as the English Art Workshops we have is co-organized with the CECES Language Group, aims to enhance children’s potential in art and languages.
STEM “Windsurfer” 5E Activity
Mr. Hung Chun Wah from the Hong Kong Baptist University came to observe the STEM “Windsurfer” 5E Activity performed by our Senior Class children, and provided professional advice to promote STEM in our school.
Assessment of the Early Childhood Teaching Environment
Our school works with instructors from the Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association (Hong Kong) to evaluate and discuss the quality of early childhood education. We aim to provide our children with a better learning environment, and to build a self-evaluation system in our school.
Food Wise Seminar on topic “Big Waster”
To cope with the life education of “People and Nature”, we invite “Green Action” who come and introduce the “Food Wise” concept to children, who get to meet the “Big Waster”, and learn that food comes from the Nature that we should treasure food and reduce food waste.
KEYSTEP Day
We take our children to the KeySteps zone for a game trial session where they can enjoy the extensive fun of playing games.
